Painted Ad Site
Wm Stage is back and this time he is taking his work online with the launch of his new Painted Ad website/blog.
For those unfamiliar with Stage’s work then you should read a bit about his latest book, and also know that he authored the single most comprehensive volume about hand painted wall advertising back in 1989. All in all he is a founding father of the current vogue for Ghostsigns and his site already delivers some fascinating new content, including the work of watercolour artist Dana Forrester* and a beautifully illustrated sign said to date from 1895.
More is yet to come so keep an eye on this new blog and make sure you get a hold of the latest book from this Stateside Ghostsigns legend.
